About work

Frame & Wolf began with a single question: what if every commercial felt like a short film? We are a small crew of cinematographers and editors who believe restraint is a creative choice, not a limitation. Every project starts with the same ritual — we scout the light before we scout the location, because light decides everything else.

Our catalog spans corporate documentaries, brand films, and quiet character studies shot on vintage glass. We favor natural light, analog textures, and long lenses that let subjects forget the camera is even there. The result is footage that feels observed rather than staged.

Video Production

Filming with intention

At Frame & Wolf, production day is never rushed. We build a shot list around mood boards, not shot counts, so every setup earns its place in the final cut.

Services offered:
  • Location Scouting: We walk every location twice — once for logistics, once just to watch how the light moves through it.

  • Camera Direction: Our operators specialize in handheld and slider work that keeps footage textured but never shaky.

  • On-Set Sound: Clean audio capture means less rescue work later, so we bring a dedicated sound operator to every shoot.

Why choose Frame & Wolf?
  • Small Crew, Big Focus: A lean team means faster setups and a set that stays calm.

  • Gear That Serves the Story: We shoot on a mix of cinema cameras and vintage stills lenses for a look you won't find in a stock library.

  • Honest Collaboration: We tell you when an idea won't work on camera — before you pay for the day.

Ready to see your story through our lens? Let's talk about your next shoot.

Video Post-Production

Editing with patience

We treat the edit suite as a second writers' room. Footage gets watched in full — twice — before a single cut is made, because pacing only reveals itself once you know the whole story.

Why choose Frame & Wolf for post-production?
  • Story-First Editing: We cut for emotional rhythm first, technical polish second.

  • Custom Color: Every grade is built from scratch to match the tone of your brand, not a preset.

  • Sound Design: Room tone, foley, and score are layered in early, not bolted on at the end.

We deliver a video that feels inevitable — as if it could only have been cut this way.

Final cut

Scene 1:
  • A hand adjusts a focus ring in slow motion, the lens catching a single shaft of window light.

Narration (Voiceover):"Every story starts the same way — someone decides a moment is worth keeping."

Scene 2:
  • A crew quietly resets a shot between takes, communicating in nods and hand signals.

Narration (Voiceover):"The best films are made in the silence between 'action' and 'cut.'"

Scene 3:
  • The final frame holds on a closed door, light spilling from beneath it as the score fades.

Narration (Voiceover):"Some stories don't need an ending. They just need to be seen."

End credits:
  • Music: "Quiet Frames" by Resident Composer

  • Footage courtesy of Frame & Wolf Archive

  • Produced by Frame & Wolf

This one, more than most, still feels exactly right to watch back. Months later, it's still the cut we send new clients when they ask what a Frame & Wolf project actually looks like — proof that restraint, done well, ages better than anything flashier would have.
